The First Thanksgiving

This week we are learning about the very first Thanksgiving. We are learning some new words like Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, Wampanoag Tribe, and Pilgrims. We read a book called "The Very First Thanksgiving Day" For our table activity we did a sink or float experiment. The kiddos grabbed a toy and then we guessed if it would sink or float. We also filled our sensory tub with water and discovered the small pumpkins and gourds all float.
