Ice/Polar Animals

We read Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? We learned a fun penguin song. By the end of the week I bet your kiddo can teach you.

I'm a little penguin black and white
I waddle to the left and I waddle to the right
I can't fly, but I can swim
I waddle to the water and I jump right in

We painted with ice... I filled ice cube trays with water, food coloring, and a craft stick. The colors were very light, but the kiddos still had fun. We also played with a polar animal sensory tub.
