Chinese New Year

One of my favorite things to teach the children about is Chinese New Year. This year is the Year of the Rat. On Monday, we found the United States on the globe and then China all the way on the other side of the globe. We learned a new song...

We looked at the China flag and painted with the colors of their flag... red and yellow. We will also be eating chinese food for lunch all week.
