Not So Scary Monsters

Halloween time can be scary for little kiddos, but if we teach them that the scary things are not real it becomes a little less scary and a little more fun. This week we are having some Halloween fun with Not so scary monsters. We read/sang If You're a Monster and You Know It. We had a discussion about make believe/imaginary and real. For table time we created monster art with construction paper, our scrap box, shape hole punches, crayons  markers, scissors, glue and stickers... eyeball stickers can turn anything into "monster art" if you add enough eyeballs!
