Apples

We read a shine-a-light book called Secrets of an Apple Tree. They love these Usborne books. Every page you shine a flashlight behind to see a surprise. We also turn the light off and read by flashlight so they can see the secrets better... They love that part, too! For table time we added pipe cleaner stems and felt leaves to our green, red, and yellow play dough. Later, the kiddos also added eyeballs. We are having fun playing with our apple trees. They add great opportunity for sorting, counting, team work, and using their imagination!
