All About Me

This week we will be learning about ourselves and each other. What makes us so special and how are we different? How are we alike? Today, we read my favorite multicultural book The Colors of Us. In the book it compares skin colors with things like honey, peaches, cinnamon, chocolate, pizza crust, coconut, etc... I asked what do you think your skin looks like and one of the kiddos said "maybe white peaches" another said "vanilla pudding"
We made pictures with big and little markers.
